Disclosure. This directory is compiled and maintained by Dr. Aman Khanna (dramankhanna.cloud) as a public resource for South Gujarat. Listings are compiled from publicly available sources. Dr. Khanna's own practice appears in it, clearly marked. Inclusion is free and not paid.

Who maintains it

Dr. Aman Khanna, an orthopaedic surgeon practising in Surat (dramankhanna.cloud), compiles and maintains this directory as a public resource for South Gujarat. It is not a company, not a lead-generation service, and it sells nothing.

Conflict of interest, stated plainly

Three listings belong to the maintainer and his family — Dr. Aman Khanna (Orthopaedics), Dr. Heena Khanna (Psychiatry) and Dr. Piyush Khanna (General Surgery). Each carries a maintainer badge and sits in its normal alphabetical position. They are not pinned to the top of any page and are not ranked above anyone else. Those three entries are supplied directly by the maintainer; every other entry comes from public sources.

Method

Sources: Publicly available regional medical directories and clinic listings for South Gujarat, consolidated into one dataset. No data is bought, scraped from behind a login, or taken from patients.
Scope of version 1: Listings whose city is Surat, in 17 clinically defined specialities. Entries with no stated speciality, and specialities outside that set, are excluded from this version rather than guessed at.
Cleaning: Names are normalised to a single "Dr." prefix and title case; ALL-CAPS clinic names, areas and cities are corrected; area spellings are merged to one canonical name (for example Athwagate and Athwa Gate both become Athwa). Where a source speciality string differs from the bucket it maps to, the original string is shown under the doctor's name as listed as.
Deduplication: Entries are merged when the doctor name and clinic name match after normalisation. A doctor who genuinely practises at two clinics appears once per clinic. 163 duplicate rows were merged in this build.
Ordering: Alphabetical by doctor name on every page, always. No ratings, no review counts, no rankings, no "best" lists, no sponsored positions.
Accuracy: Compiled data ages. An entry appearing here is not a verification of registration, qualification or current practice, and is not a recommendation. Please confirm details with the clinic directly.

Privacy — what is deliberately missing

The underlying dataset contains contact numbers and e-mail addresses. None of them are published. Mobile numbers, WhatsApp numbers, alternate contacts and e-mail addresses are discarded when the data is loaded and never reach any page, data file or structured-data block on this site. What is published is limited to: doctor name, qualifications, clinic or hospital name, the clinic's business address, area, city, the clinic website if there is one, and stated consultation timings.

Any listed doctor can have their entry corrected or deleted on request, with no reason required — see the correction page.
